Who in my company works with Upshift?
Your CEO and a Sales Executive (typically VP of Sales, Sales Manager, or Director of Sales) works together with an Upshift Senior Associate and an Associate. How much your CEO is involved depends on in which stage your company is.

Who from Upshift works with my company?
You will work with an Upshift Senior Associate and an Associate. The primary task of the Senior Associate is to transfer his extensive sales operations experience into valuable insights and advice for your company. Our Associate acts as your point of contact and helps to organize and progress your company through the program.

How many companies does Upshift work with?
Each Upshift team works with up to five companies at a time.

What people do we need on our team to take full advantage of this?
We need someone to Champion the program, this is typically the existing Sales Executive. For early stage companies, we’ve observed the most success when the CEO is involved as well.

What is the focus of Upshift’s program?
Upshift focuses on building out a scalable sales strategy. A measurable and repeatable sales system is what leads to predictable sales results. With this objective in mind, we help your company in a range of points along the sales process, from extracting and using business intelligence for executive strategy to recruiting and on-boarding an rockstar sales team.

How much time does it take?
The program is divided up into phases that each require a different amount of time. You can learn more about this by checking out the program timeline.

How frequently do we work together? Is this in person? Remote?
We have scheduled meetings at least once a week for the duration of the program. These meetings are a mixture of in-person sessions and phone/web calls. We opt for phone and web when it is just as effective as in-person sessions, however we schedule a series of meetings at your office and/or ours for activities where we get the most leverage out of face-to-face sessions.

With which type of companies does Upshift work?
We focus on B2B SaaS and Marketplace companies that need to build an inside sales and support organization to grow. Though we’ve helped companies across a wide variety of industries, we have the strongest track record and have developed the most clearly proven process with the B2B SaaS model.

What kind of engineering resources will I need?
Our program is light on the engineering resources. Typically, we work with your engineers to integrate any backend systems you have to integrate with the CRM we install with you. We’ll give you 2-4 weeks notices so that we can all plan for these builds.
